In an new interview from gamer.nl (video interview) featuring Sion Lenton, the Creative Director of Operation Flashpoint: Red River, reveals many intresting facts - and of course - lies.

In the interview, Sion Lenton claims that they (Codemasters or more accurate - the team working with operation flashpoint red river) released everything they said they was going to release - in the DLC point of view.

Nothing can be more far from the truth.
The DLCs that were released to Operation Flashpoint: Dragon Rising did not suceed to deliver according to the Flashpoint community itself - If you have any doubt, check out the Dragon Rising forums.

It was said that the game was going to feature freeroaming- but it did not, so the first DLC contained a fairly offensive contect; Island tour mode. You started in a small US base, with your fireteam, and a few vehicles such as helicopters, jeeps etc. around you, and then you had the ’’freedom’’ to roam the totally empty island.

That was the island tour DLC. The second DLC added a few extra gamemodes - unfortunately, they were buggy and contained a lot of error.

As seen and heard in the interview, Sion also states that the players won’t go in the same traps as with dragon rising.

In the end of the interview, the reporter asked Sion if we could expect patches and continuous feedback for Operation Flashpoint: Red River. Sions turns his head randomly, making a circle, and states that they hope so, and that's how it ideally should be.

With other words; He didn’t promise that they will give continuous feedback in case the game contains a lot of bugs and glitches - wich it certainly will do if you look back at Dragon Risng, but also at the fact that they’re working very fast with Red River wich often result in a sloppy product.

Finally, this shows that one shouldn’t trust Sion Lenton or the team working with Operation Flashpoint: Red River. They have officialy said that they gave what they promised wich is a straight-out lie.

Sion even admits that the players won’t go in the same trap as before, and as a final word, he doesn’t give a clear answer whenever the game will have continuous support regarding bugs, glitches and such.
This tells how much they care about all of you and how dirty their business is.

Here is a cut video of the most intresting parts from the interview.
